Saturday despite the light rain we toured Athens - The Akropolis, the 1896 Olympic Stadium and other ruins. They are everywhere here....truly amazing! After a day FULL of walking up hills and steps (Athens is definitely not the place for people who have a hard time getting around steps and inclines!!) - We caught the train out to a suburb where Yianni and Elaine live. Yianni picked us up at the train station and took us to their lovely home. We all visited for a while. Elaine seemed to be doing much better, and we were so excited to see them! Later we went to dinner at a near by restaurant. We were there early - around 9! The Greeks apparently don't go to dinner until around 10 p.m. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and packed when we left! We had a great meal and visit with the Isaaks. I just wish Alexia had been with there as well!
