We arrived in Greece today and leave for the island of Skolepos tomorrow. It's been a little bit stressful as we had some last minute changes in plans. Sadly, Elaine our good friend here in Greece became ill and was in the hospital last week.... so we are figuring out last minute hotels and tour plans etc. Elaine has been a Huge help in helping us arrange everything- hopefully she will be feeling much better soon!
Our first night was nice. We had dinner and of course found a gelato place for mom...her favorite! We also saw the Parthenon on the way to our hotel - Amazing! Merlyn gasped - it was fabulous!!
Off to bed now as our cab arrives at 6:30 a.m. to take us to a bus which takes us the ferry for the island.....

Sounds like you are having a blast!!! I hope Elaine starts feeling better- I know that she hates that she is missing ya'll! Be careful!
